perfect New England vacation. Our 1710 colonial New England home offers
friendly, romantic and spacious accommodations for the B&B visitor. Only three miles
from Mystic, historic Stonington Borough, Westerly,
Mystic Aquarium, and Mystic Seaport our bed and
breakfast inn is located on five acres of gardens, fields and forest. This historic farm
provides excellent opportunities for quiet, romantic walks, secluded hideaways for
reading, birding and bird watching and rousing games of badminton and croquet. When the
nightlife beckons, gambling at Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun
and theater at the Garde Arts Center are 15 minutes away. Ocean and river
water, the beach, hiking, biking, antiques and shopping await you. Business
travelers’ note: we accept the federal government per diem weekdays. Pets and

A five course breakfast is
served Monday through Saturday from
8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
On Sundays, guests enjoy breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. or, for those wishing to sleep late, a buffet is set out when the innkeepers leave for church. The menu uses seasonal ingredients and highlights New England recipes. (A typical weekend is below.) Sandra bakes "from scratch" coffee cakes, muffins, scones and bread. Jim creates a fruit course of vanilla poached pears, fresh berry compote or cider-sauteed apples with yoghurt among other possibilities. He also whips up an assortment of homemade sorbets to finish off your meal!
Coffee, tea, cocoa, and baked goods are available in the dining room starting at 7:00 a.m. everyday.
Smoking is not permitted indoors at Another Second Penny Inn.
Children over the age of 8 years are welcome in their own room (or one child can be accommodated in the Russell Suite, as above with an additional charge.)

A gift certificate for a stay at Another Second Penny
Inn is likely to be something that they
don't already have too many of!
We recommend
gift certificates in dollar amounts (ie: $50, $100, $150, $250, etc.) because that offers
the recipient the greatest flexibilty. They can
choose their room according to their preferences and come whenever they wish. Gift
certificates are good for three years from date of issue. At that time, if the gift
certificate remains unused the funds will be turned over to the State of Connecticut as
unclaimed property.
You may also make and pay
for a reservation for someone else subject to the usual cancellation policy.
