Exquisite dining starts each morning with the Inn's complimentary full breakfast which is served between 8:30 and 9:30 in candlelit dining rooms.

A sense of history pervades this charming, atmospheric B&B, and new owners Elaine and Leo Klevens seek to capitalize on it. Riverwind is unusual in that it offers eight delightful quest rooms and an equal number of common areas that afford space for mingling or privacy and also a fireplace in one of the guest rooms.. Three of these common rooms boasts fireplaces, including a breathtaking twelve-foot stone cooking fireplace and also a fireplace in one of the guest rooms
Crackling fires and mulled cider greet guests during fall and winter, and in the spring and summertime quests are beckoned to just rock away a lazy afternoon in one of our comfortable rockers that line the spacious wrap around porch.
Picture postcard seasons, superb dining, exceptional theater, and the relaxed pace of our small villages are only a few of the many reasons visitors travel to the Connecticut River Valley. Bring or rent bikes to experience the beautiful scenery and wildlife preserves found on our many back roads, or hike in Canfield-Meadow Woods Nature Preserve, over 300 pristine acres of trails located less than a mile from the Inn. It will soon become clear to you why the Nature Conservancy has designated this area as "one of the last great places".
