assorted cereals, bagels, muffins, pastry, fresh fruit, juice and coffee or tea served in
the comfortable, covered, outdoor gathering area overlooking our lush
tropical garden, either explore Key West's many shops or tourist attractions, set sail for
a snorkeling or diving expedition or just relax in the sun by heated pool. If you would like, we will be happy to help you plan your activities, making any necessary arrangements from ordering flowers for your room to making dinner reservations or renting a bicycle. We want your stay with us to be as carefree as possible. At Knowles House you are not just a room number, you are a friend and we want you to have the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of the other guests, whether it be at breakfast, by our heated pool or on our secluded, clothing-optional sun deck. |

The Knowles House Key West b & b is a
beautifully maintained example of old Key West architecture. When you
stay at the Knowles House Key West b & b you can relax in
the tranquil, palm-fringed pool garden with its soothing fountain, large Jacuzzi
and inviting, cool, shady, comfortably furnished, porch.
At Knowles House Key West bed and breakfast, the refreshing
tropical outdoor shower is tucked in a cozy corner of the garden for privacy, while the
quiet rooftop sundeck overlooking the palm garden is a great place to work on your tan.
We have Great Rates. All quoted rates are for single or double occupancy exclusive of tax. Special rates for Holidays and Special Events. Minimum stays for weekends and special events. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Travelers Checks and cash accepted. Sorry, no pets, no children and no smoking inside the hotel rooms. Please feel free to smoke on the porches or in the garden. DEPOSITS
A deposit equal to the cost of one half of your stay or one night, whichever is greater,
is required to guarantee a reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. Sorry, no refunds
for early departures. Personal checks accepted only for advance reservations.
CANCELLATIONS
Deposits will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received a minimum of 21 days,
up to 90 days for holiday periods and special events, prior to arrival. A $50.00
cancellation charge will be deducted from any returned deposit. Cancellation fees of up to
$100 per room may apply to holiday periods and special events.
We do not refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We
strongly encourage the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment!
Please note that we do not sell Travel Insurance, but provide a link on this web site to
AIG Travel Guard, (Coverage starting at $30), one of the most reputable and comprehensive
providers in the travel industry. In the unlikely event that a hurricane evacuation is
ordered while you are a guest, and you have not purchased travel insurance, you will be
issued a voucher for the unused portion of your stay.
Guests holding a confirmed reservation who are unable to travel to The Knowles
House Key West bed and breakfast. because of the closing of the Key West
Airport or connecting roadways due to a mandatory evacuation and have not purchased travel
insurance will receive a voucher in the amount of the room deposit held. Vouchers are
redeemable between June 1 and December 15, up to one year from the issue date, excluding
special events and holidays. (Exception: Vouchers issued for cancellations of Fantasy Fest
reservations can be applied to future Fantasy Fests in the ensuing two years.) No voucher
will be issued if the hurricane is not a threat to Key West and you are unable to travel
because of canceled flights or adverse travel conditions outside the Keys. We strongly
encourage the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment!
Feel free to laze around in bed all day with someone special, curl-up with a book in a quiet corner or just lounge around the house or garden in the fluffy robes provided in all of the rooms.
