The Peace and Plenty Inn Bed and Breakfast is located on the horse and carriage tour route and is steps away from three of the most historic landmarks in St. Augustine FL: the Alcazar Hotel, circa 1880 (now the Lightner Museum), the Ponce de Leon Hotel, circa 1888 (now Flagler College), and the Hotel Cordova, circa 1887. A short stroll will take you to the Ancient City's center and Plaza de la Constitution. Retreat into our quiet neighborhood or walk downtown and bask in the city's vibrant nightlife. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds without sacrificing ease of access for quiet repose.

Founded in 1565 by Pedro Menendez and a band of colonists and soldiers, the bay front city of St. Augustine strongly reflects its Spanish heritage in beautiful architecture amid subtropical splendor.

Our large suites feature king or queen-sized beds but are large enough to accommodate a very comfortable roll away bed.

Breakfast is served between 9AM and 10AM in the formal dining room under the warm light of our elegant Victorian brass chandelier. Coffee is usually ready before 9AM for those early risers staying with us. Guests can enjoy a variety of complimentary beverages in the formal Parlor. The complimentary beverage menu typically includes wine, beer, and soft drinks.

Peak Season: October 1 - July 14: $119 - $229
Off Season: July 15 - September 30: $89 - $209
One night stays are accepted unless otherwise indicated by management.
A credit card deposit equal to the full amount of your stay, including any ticket or attractions requested, is required for reservations. The Peace and Plenty Inn accepts American Express, MasterCard, Discover and Visa cards.
All rooms are double occupancy. A $35 charge will be assessed for each additional guest. The Prosperity, Serenity, and Serendipity suites can accommodate a roll away bed for an extra person.
Check-in begins at 3PM and ends at 7PM. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated. Late arrivals can only be accommodated if they give advance notification of their intent to arrive late.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: After 7PM on the date of the reservation, reserved rooms will be re-rented to other parties if a guest has not checked in. To preserve their reservation, guests must notify the inn prior to 7PM, that the guest is late and will be checking in after 7PM. A $25 concierge fee will be charged to guests checking in after 7PM.
Check-out is at 11AM. Late check out cannot be accommodated.
Staff will not be able to assist or check in guests arriving before 3PM. On premise parking will not be available until 3PM.
Cancellation and Failure to Check-In Policy:
# Deposits are refundable, less a non-refundable $50 reservation fee per room reserved, if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the reservation date.
# Guests canceling their reservation within 24 hours of the reservation date will be charged the first night's rental fee for each room reserved and any nonrefundable attraction tickets or services the guest reserved.
# Guests who do not cancel their reservation and fail to inform management of late arrival will be charged the full amount of their entire reservation, to include any tickets or fees for attractions, services and events.
Taxes are additional: 9% = (6% FL sales tax) + (3% municipal bed tax).
Pets are not permitted.
The Peace and Plenty Inn is a no smoking and drug free establishment. Any evidence of smoking in the suites will result in a $100 cleaning charge.
CANDLES and OPEN FLAMES ARE NOW STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN GUEST'S ROOMS BY LAW
The Inn's atmosphere and accommodations are inappropriate for children under age 13. Families with children under 13 can sometimes be accommodated if they book the entire carriage house apartment (Serendipity Suite #5 and Rhapsody Suite #6). We usually bring a continental breakfast to your door so the family can dine together in their rooms. Families may also take their continental breakfast on the garden if they wish.
Rates may vary by season, holidays, special event weekends and day of the week.
