In addition to the beautifully restored guest rooms, our guests will enjoy relaxing or pleasant conversation with Linda and Rich or other guests on the verandah with its rockers and ceiling fans or in the living room painted in a warm salmon color with its attractive furnishings and fireplace. The adjacent sunroom, originally an outdoor porch, still maintains the historic cuban tile floor of red, arranged with Ivy décor couch and love seat which gives this room a truly eclectic look. It is bright and a great reading room. It also has a large screen TV for those "must see" events
Each room is named for places that have been a special part of the former owner's life, and tastefully decorated theme rooms have been created for all the guests to enjoy. |

Augusta Room The famous Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA is the inspiration for
this room. The feel of this special event is captured with an original painting of Ben
Hogan at "Amen Corner". The room is hunter green with bedding and window
treatments in a warm cinnamon/burgundy floral pattern and includes a walnut queen size
canopy bed, large whirlpool tub and shower, double sinks and high ceilings with skylight

Highlands Room This room was recently featured Southern Living Magazine and is named for Highlands, NC. The golden color walls provide warmth to this bright room with Williamsburg designed drapes, comforter and accessories, highlighted with magnolias and dogwoods and lovely tiffany lamps.. Sunset Bay Suite Sunset Bay Inn's signature suite with its decor of roses and lace create a "midnight and roses" theme that provides a perfect place for honeymooners or any special romantic get-a-way. The room is painted a deep rose and has a king size canopy bed and other furnishings in a striking black shaker style design; a separate sitting room with a view towards the bay adds to the charm of this room. Kihei Room Kihei is a quaint town on the island of Maui in Hawaii and is a little bit of heaven on earth. This room takes on a tropical effect with birds, flowers and beach accents. A decorator queen size bed of gold iron and green ivy highlights this light and airy room painted in a yellow with green willow comforter and drapes, whirlpool tub and shower. ($160-$190) |
Sapphire Room The beauty and tranquility of Sapphire Valley, NC is presented in this room decorated in soft greens and yellows. The room is located on the third floor and offers a unique arrangement and privacy. A view of the beautiful blue skies through the skylights over the pewter wrought iron queen size bed provides an extra touch to this relaxing and peaceful hide-a-way. Marthasville Room If you return to the history books, you will find Marthasville was one of the original names of Atlanta, GA. This room is dramatically decorated with Waverley Pleasant Valley burgundy and green wallpaper, comforter and window treatment in both floral and stripes. This room offers third floor privacy, also with skylights to brighten the room. The queen size bed is cherry with wrought iron trimming, and the bathroom contains the original claw foot soaking tub to ensure you total relaxation and a nostalgic experience. ($150-$180) |
Carmel Suite You can really "make your day" with a stay in this suite located in the carriage house adjacent to the main house and overlooking the courtyard. Warm tones of plum, a cherry/wrought iron queen bed encased with a canopy and white columns and prominent pictures give this suite the mission feel of Carmel, CA. Monterey Suite Monterey, CA brings visions of John Steinbeck's Cannery Row, sea otters playing in the ocean, Pebble Beach and beautiful views along the peninsula, including the Lone Cypress. This suite is exceptional and will make you feel grand. Special attention has been paid to providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests, including a water purification system that eliminates the chlorine from our drinking water. Our own special bottled water, as well as ice made from this great water, is available at all times. Since this is a "whole house" system, there is no chlorine in the bathing water so your relaxing jacuzzi bath will leave your skin feeling soft and clean.
Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room area The green walls and colorful rug along with an attractively set table create an inviting place each morning for guests to enjoy a hearty continental plus breakfast with gourmet coffee and teas during the week and more sinful delights on the weekends like "Apple Dapple French Toast Cobbler." |

Full size desks have been provided in each room along with an in-room phone system so
guests can make calls from the room as well as receive incoming calls. Two modem data
ports are also available so computers may be in use and calls made simultaneously.
The renovation to the adjoining carriage house was designed to include a conference room
suitable to accommodate small business conferences, sales meetings, training seminars or
executive get-aways. Facility includes access to computer, printer, fax and all necessary
audio visual equipment.
An events coordinator is available customize corporate packages to meet your needs. There
are many packages available to you can create your own. By knowing what you hope to
achieve every detail can be planned for you.
