Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant
Our Blue Ridge Mountain hotel currently has 8 rooms available in the main hotel, plus a separate Innkeeper’s Cottage.
Each room in our historic North Georgia hotel features private baths and plush, downy queen-size beds that welcome sweet dreams.
Each woodsy accommodation has its own rustic charm, with one-of-a-kind hand-crafted Adirondack mirrors, lighting, and clothes racks.
All rooms include a gourmet breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in our hotel restaurant or an outside deck under the shelter of a timber-framed roof, surrounded by hemlocks and pines. For early risers, a full pot of gourmet coffee is waiting just outside your door. Enjoy your first cup on the balcony overlooking the lake. Let the sun reflecting on the water dazzle you awake.
Cuisine prepared at the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant is American, brushed by world influences that range from Middle Eastern and French to down-home Southern. It’s unique and adventurous, with ample selections for even a vegan vegetarian.
Executive chef Jamie Allred has introduced the Farm to Table dining movement to the mountains of North Georgia with flair and creativity. He uses and involves regional farms and farmers during the entire growing season. Featured Farmer Thursdays bring a selected farmer into the restaurant with his or her produce to acquaint our guests with uses and growing practices, while the chef prepares small plates featuring delicious recipes that use a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as other produce supplied by the farmer.
The restaurant also features an outstanding wine list that offers wines from local vineyards, micro-brews, and a full bar.
Our Food Philosophy
The Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant pledges to work closely with local farmers to provide our guests with only the freshest, most nourishing and healthy ingredients, prepared in a way to bring out their natural flavors.
