First Farm Inn's 1870s room has tall windows overlooking the neighbor's pasture, a matching antique oak bedroom set that has been in Jen's family for four generations, and quilts made by our great grandmothers.
Our upstairs Treetop room's impressive size comes from its original design to house three of the Stevens brothers who each were responsible for a different species of animals: cattle, sheep and hogs. The family emigrated here from Germany and built the house in 1870. Perfect for a family of four or five or a girlfriends get-away, this room has a big two part bath.

One bridesmaid’s dress and the bride’s sash exactly matched a huge pot of peach impatiens, making fabulous photos. Blue Romeo was happy to reach for a bouquet, kicking up the cuteness quotient in that picture. Our 140-year-old oak staircase makes for a beautiful bridesmaids line or bride’s entrance. Green pasture and white fence makes a great contrast to the groom’s tuxedo – or denims. How much more memorable are those photos than the standard old hands & rings?
First Farm Inn is 'green' and always has been.
First Farm Inn has been an environmentally responsible or "green hotel" since its founding -- long before it was a trendy internet marketing technique. Perhaps the most green lodging in Cincinnati, our family-owned business reduces its environmental impact by using natural products, limiting chemical use, recycling everything recyclable and more.
Living in harmony with nature and preserving the environment are ways we can safeguard the planet for future generations. Reducing the amount you "consume" and eliminating waste will set a good example to others and give value to your life.
