The house is within walking distance to the Historic Downtown District of Natchitoches and beautiful Cane River Lake. In the early 1900's, President Taft stayed as an overnight guest. According to Jack and Willa, there seems to be unknown occupants in the house along with the Freemans. Frequent guests have experienced some unexplainable activities!

Recreation is just outside the inn with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or you may prefer to just lie in the sun while finishing that half-read novel. |

If you are staying at the Breazeale House in the summer, you will definitely want to tour the Melrose Arts and Crafts Fair in June for homespun treasures and keepsakes. October's Tour of Homes gives you an inside look at the beautiful historic buildings which give Nachitoches its charm and beauty. The year comes to a close with the Christmas Festival, promising to put you in the spirit of the holiday season.
