our beach during the warm summer nights. Or on a cool fall evening, unwind by a crackling
fire in the quiet and comfort of our large oversized living room. Begin each morning with
our hearty Continental breakfast served to you on our wrap-around Veranda
overlooking Nantucket Sound.
You'll find our staff friendly and accommodating; ready to make your stay with us an enjoyable one.
Family operated for thirty five years, all of our non-smoking guest rooms offer the following amenities: Private ceramic tiled bathrooms with glass showers including two with soaking tubs, CCTV/HBO w/DVD/CD, refrigerators, ceiling fans, air conditioning and individually controlled thermostats for those cooler evenings. Most of our rooms have an ocean view with some directly overlooking Nantucket Sound. We are not antiquish or elegant, but what we are is warm, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, friendly and convenient. |

Breakfast

Breakfast is served each morning on our oceanfront Veranda Where you can take in the natural beauty of Nantucket Sound. We start your day with our rich, hardy coffee, specialty teas, fruit juices, cut fresh fruit bowl, hot or cold cereals, fresh hot baked rolls, a variety of warmed pastries and more. |
After breakfast you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the shore or relax on our own private beach.
Refreshments Throughout the day and into the evening there is always fresh fruit, home baked cookies and mini-desserts, coffee, tea and cocoa available. From time to time, we offer our own complimentary Champagne Punch or wine, with cheese and crackers and other various snacks, hors d'oeurves, served on either our oceanfront Veranda or in the comfort of our Livingroom. Restaurants We are blessed with many excellent restaurants nearby or within a short drive from our inn. We have menus available for many of these fine establishments for your perusal. Two suggestions are the wonderful restaurants right within walking distance of our Inn... The Ocean House, overlooking Nantucket Sound, has been enjoyed by the staff and guests of 'By The Sea' with their delicious gourmet food. The Ebbtide is a short walk in the other direction, another wonderful choice. For your comfort and convenience

The Inn welcomes guests from May until the first of December. Well behaved children are also welcome. There is a three-night minimum during the high season from early July into early September when rates range from $150-$225
Now accepting reservations for the new luxurious one and two bedroom suites.
