Captain Freeman Inn
Bed and Breakfast

Brewster, Massachusetts

(Cape Cod)

frt

The Captain Freeman Inn invites you to return to an earlier era and experience the romance and history of the sea anytime of the year.

A truly magnificent Sea Captain's home on Cape Cod. This bed and breakfast has a perfect location, with easy strolls to Breakwater Beach, the Brewster General Store and Ice Cream Scoop, an upscale restaurant and a nice family style Chowder House. A wrap around porch with a screened in breakfast area overlooking the pool makes for a perfect start to the day and then relaxing in wicker lounge chairs and rocking chairs on the front porch defines the perfect vacation.

Breakfast is both gourmet and farm to table and is accomplished in a commercial kitchen. An indoor dining room makes breakfast and afternoon teas a year round pleasure.

The rooms are elegant, spacious and well equipped with modern amenities.

Eco Friendly

In 2011, the Captain Freeman Inn became a verified Cape and Island Green business, a deignation that is supported by the Cape Cod Light Compact, Cape Cod Self Reliance and the Community Development partnership, all supporting a "greener earth and community".

Through the recent renovations at the inn, steps were taken to improve energy efficiency and also to put  procedures in place for recycling many of the inn's supplies as well as paper, plastic and glass that the guests leave. All of the employees also take pride in doing their part to turn off lights and moniter the airconditiones in the guest rooms.

All of our guest soap ammenities that are partially used andleft behind are recycled and sent to Clean the World which sends all the soaps to countries that are in need. It feels so good not to through away partially used soaps.

All of our  "green changes" have been very well received by our guests.

Brewster is perfectly located on Cape Cod, central to all the parts of the Cape that millions of visitors have enthused over. 45 minutes to Provincetown, 20 minutes to the start of the National Seashore beaches, 20 minutes to the upscale town of Chatham, 25 minutes to the ferries out of Hyannis for day trips to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and just over an hour to the other end of Cape Cod at Wood's Hole.

Cape Cod is known for nature, sun, sand, fun, beaches, art, antiques, biking, kayaking, shopping, high end dining, clam shacks, ice cream specialties shops, and much more. Easy to spend a week on this piece of sandy beach that sticks way out into the Atlantic Ocean. It is relaxing yet engaging.
