Come experience the tranquil charm of this historic Easton home. Easton is a lovely small town that contains many historically significant buildings and many modern day attractions. We have the best of the old and new at the McDaniel House. We are within walking distance of most of Easton’s historical sites including: the Academy of the Arts, the Avalon Theater, Christ Church, Third Harman French Meeting House, and Talbot County Courthouse.
Breakfast is a very special event each morning and is served in the Inn’s dinning room from 8:30 to 10 AM each day. |
The McDaniel House is open seven days a week all year long. We have several special events each week which guests may enjoy at no additional charge. Wednesday afternoon, high tea is legendary. We feature a wide variety of world famous teas such as Earl Grey, Ceylon, Darjeeling and Jasmine an assortment of sweets and savories are all made at the Inn. Our Friday night cocktail hour from 5 to 7:30 PM is the perfect way to unwind after a busy workweek. We serve a buffet of appetizers which is always unique and uses many of the fresh foods available here in Easton (i.e. crab from the bay and vegetables from the garden). Each Sunday evening from 7:30 to 9 PM the McDaniel House provides a delectable assortment of coffee and desserts. The desserts are all prepared at the Inn and can be purchased in goodie bags to take home with you. Our guests are always encouraged to think of our common rooms as their home away from home. Our beautiful wrap-around porch has many comfortable rockers so you can stop and sit awhile. Our gardens are designed to provide a quiet and restful retreat for guests. Enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature and watch our many feathered friends visit the feeders placed throughout the garden.
