The Lion and the Rose has been faithfully restored to its original elegance. Its rooms are uniquely furnished and decorated with antiques, Persian rugs, and period appointments. The high embossed ceilings, original golden oak, and the classic leaded and stained glass windows all serve to create an enchanting atmosphere.
A Full, gourmet breakfast and afternoon refreshments are served daily. In addition to the four guest rooms and the suite, the inn has two parlors, a formal dining room, an inglenook with fireplace, a large foyer, and a verandah overlooking a park-like setting with 100 year old Sugar Maples and flower gardens outlined by a scalloped white picket fence.
