Featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, this 1850
brick Victorian/Colonial house is located in the center of the town's historical district
within walking distance to all the local attractions and fine dining. The Alden House was
professionally restored with all modern amenities while retaining all its original
charm. |
"You allowed us to feel very much at home. I can think of no higher compliment." Sue & Carl Decke
The town of Lititz, located in Lancaster County in the midst of Amish country, was founded in 1756 and is rich in historical attractions. Many of the 18th century buildings are basically the same as the day they were built. The streets and town are reminiscent of hometowns of yesteryear.
"A charming town, and a lovely Bed & Breakfast!" Donald & Jane Miller
The restaurants in the area run from very fine dining to smorgasbord and family style. A special dinner with an Amish family can be arranged, but takes a little time since the Amish don't have telephones in their homes! We can make reservations and recommendations for you. The more advance notice, the better the choices.
