The Ellerbeck Mansion Bed and Breakfast, an eclectic two-story Victorian showcase built in 1892, is located in the heart of the historic Avenue District of downtown Salt Lake City. The Bed and Breakfast is within 30 minutes of 12 world-class ski resorts and just 15 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. |

The Ellerbeck Mansion Bed and Breakfast features hardwood floors, original moldings, beautiful stained glass, vaulted windows, and period furniture. Relax in either the main-floor or upstairs gallery, both warmed by fireplaces and charmed by talk as guests conduct business, plan their daily agendas, or rest before dinner.
The mansion's six suites are equally
inviting.
Each has seasonally themed decor and a private bath.
Standard amenities include remote-control cable television and individual phone extensions with modem capability, and three have working fireplaces. All guests enjoy convenient access to secure, on-site parking. |

For your convenience, a delicious continental breakfast is served directly to your room when you want it. This allows maximum flexibility in the scheduling of the day's activities. Some guests, for example, choose to hit the ski slopes early and want to eat breakfast during the wee hours. Others opt to sleep in and venture out mid-morning to explore downtown Salt Lake City.
The Ellerbeck Mansion is within walking distance of downtown's famed Temple
Square, which, along with several adjacent blocks, is home to some of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' most historic buildings. You'll also be
within walking distance of the ZCMI shopping mall and the new 21,000-seat Salt Palace
Convention Center. Self-guided walking tours of the historic district are available
Delta Center, home of the Utah Jazz, is less than a
ten-minute drive from Ellerbeck Mansion. Experience the recreated pioneer setting of
early Salt Lake City at Old Desert Village, near which you can find the
"This is the Place" Monument, commemorating Brigham Young's
words as he first entered Salt Lake City. Historic Main Street
in nearby Park City boasts several quaint shops and restaurants, or you
can visit Gardener's Historic Village, originally a grain mill, for
hand-made lace and quilts, original paintings, and candy.
Of course, a trip to Salt Lake City wouldn't be complete without seeing the Great Salt Lake, one of the world's largest inland bodies of salt water. This is a beautiful place to swim, boat, or just enjoy the sunset. Near the lake are Antelope Island animal preserve and the famous Bonneville Salt Flats, well known among car racing enthusiasts.
