The Cross Roads Inn, located in historic New Market, Virginia Is just minutes away from the site of the Civil War battle of New Market.
The Inn is also close to museums, caverns, vineyards and restaurants which feature a local flair. Of course, New Market and thesurrounding area abound with antique and specialty shops that meet the needs of every recreational shopper.
Additionally, there are many outdoor recreation activities available nearby. The Shenvalee Resort, located in town, hosts a 27-hole golf course, while tennis and swimming are available at the New Market Community Park. Hiking, biking and off road travel is a mere ten minutes away in the George Washington National Forest on Massanutten Mountain. For the water enthusiast there is also canoeing, fishing and whitewater rafting on the North and South Branches of the Shenandoah River. Bryce Resort is just around the bend and offers both grass and snow skiing depending on the season.

Cross Roads Inn has several common areas in which to relax: The living room, formal dining room, porch and the breakfast room.
You may choose to stretch out and watch an old movie on TV or settle in with a good book in the living room. In these rooms you may elect to sit down to a game of chess or cribbage while you sip one of the complimentary beverages.
To some guests the Pantry is the place to go for hot coffee/tea and other beverages any time of the day or night. Here you may purchase mementos of your stay at our B&B and browse through brochures and flyers concerning attractions in the area that you may want to visit.
