Located in a quintessential village setting which captures the essence of Vermont. The Marble West Inn is just outside the village and nestled between two mountains. The grounds are beautifully manicured and include two small ponds, stocked with trout. The ponds are fed by a rolling mountain brook behind the Inn. Very relaxing! The Dorset area offers many activities including, biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, tennis, cross country and downhill skiing, as well as many antique shops and fine restaurants. Manchester Village, only minutes away, offers designer outlet and specialty stores, as well as many fabulous restaurants. Enjoy a stroll through Robert Todd Lincoln's Hildene or the Southern Vermont Art Center.
Exquisitely stenciled walls by one of the country's renowned stencilers greet you in the entry foyer.
Two first floor rooms with enchanting fireplaces invite you to gather with family or new-found friends. The library offers a wonderful selection of old books and current magazines. Choose one of the upholstered chairs or snuggle on the bay window seat.
The music room is accented by many antique musical instruments which contribute to the comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy relaxing music while playing a game of chess or checkers with friends, new and old.

King, queen, or twin beds are available. Some rooms have canopy or four-poster beds and
comfortable sitting
areas. All rooms have private baths. Our 2-room suite offers a
fireplace, lovely bay window and a queen bed. All rooms are air-conditioned.
Our REGULAR daily room rates range from $119-$209 per room, based on double occupancy and include a full gourmet breakfast and afternoon refreshments.
Each morning you'll enjoy a three-course breakfast in our elegant dining
room. Sammi's culinary magic is just one of the many things that keep guests
returning to Marble West Inn again and again.
Our specially selected menu changes daily. Fruit, fresh muffins, and a main course that
might include French Toast stuffed with Bananas, Eggs Benedict, Strawberry Walnut
Pancakes, Cheese and Chive Omelets served with a mild Salsa. Coffee, tea, flavored cocoa,
and fresh selection of juices accompany your meal.
