Twelve miles east of Burlington and Lake Champlain, many recreational opportunities, including the Long Trail and other hiking/ walking trails, boating, fishing and swimming in area lakes, rivers and ponds, as well as both downhill and cross country skiing are within a few minutes drive.
There are back roads to explore by car or bicycle, snow mobile trails and snow shoeing trails within easy reach. Shopping for antiques, at the outlet stores, on the Church Street mail, and other the shopping malls are only a short drive away. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Shelburne Museum and Shelburne Farms are less then twenty minutes away.
A full country breakfast featuring Vermont specialties (Harrington's bacon and sausage, local maple syrup and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee) is served family style each morning in the sunny dining room.
The Inn will also host small meetings and conferences (up to 15 people) and provide meals for such meetings.
We invite you to sit on the front porch and watch the world go by....or curl up in a rocker and read that book you have been trying to read.
