It has always been our opinion
that the ideal country inn needs to
offer just two things. First, all the comforts of civilization.
Second, all the comfort of feeling as far away from civilization as possible.
The Vermont inn is situated on 3+ acres of woodland and informal gardens, set back from route 100,amidst 3 acres of pine, maple and birch trees with our own spring fed trout pond amongst the trees. 1 mile south of Vermont's Mount Snow Ski resort.
You will be greeted by your hosts when you step inside the Snow Goose Inn’s grand entry way supported with 150 year old hewned beams salvaged from an old Vermont barn.
The inns Vermont 11 rooms and 2 suites are furnished with comfortable antiques, to create a relaxing, romantic and homely feel for our guests. Many rooms have wood fireplaces, air conditioning and 2 person Jacuzzis, ideal for that |

In the afternoons we serve complimentary wines and hors d'oeuvres either by the fireside in winter or on the deck overlooking the gardens in summer and fall.
Every morning wake to the smell of fresh cooked country breakfast in our garden side room. After fresh baked muffins, fruit cup and a selection of teas & coffee, choose from a variety of cooked entrees including the "secret recipe" maple bacon and blueberry stuffed French Toast.
For every season there is an
adventure or pastime to enjoy in the clean and fresh air of the fabulous Green Mountains,
whether your passion be winter sport, relaxing whilst fishing Lake Whitingham or playing
18 holes at either Mount Snow or Haystack
golf courses.

The 18 hole championship golf course at Mt. Snow has hosted the New England Open and The New England P.G.A. Championship. "Golf Digest" has voted Vermont's Mt. Snow one of Vermont's classic mountain course with all the diverse fascinating terrain you'd expect. Fairways are open than on many mountain courses. |
Set in the Green Mountain National Forest, Mount Snow offers 45 miles of mountain bike terrain consisting of single-track, old town roads and ski trails that challenge all ages and abilities of riders in a classic Vermont setting. The Main Base Area is the hub for mountain bike operations and services. |

The Snow Goose Inn is located in West Dover, Vermont. The Inn is 1 mile south of Mount Snow Ski Resort. Less then 5 miles from Haystack Ski Resort. Both Ski resorts offer terrain for expert skiers to beginner skiers. |

In Southern Vermont there are many trails of manydifferent terrain. If your interested in mountain hiking, hiking along a lake or just rummaging through the woods, Southern Vermont offers it all. |
The Snow Goose Inn can arrange for Patricia Sweeney, CMT, your personal masseuse for you and /or your partner whilst staying with us. Each massage session lasts a full hour. It's A Known Fact That...."Massages are healing, therapeutic, and relaxing; It also relieves muscle tension, stress, and chronic pain". Ideal after a hard day on the slopes, hiking or mountain biking! |
