The White House of
Wilmington is a Victorian mansion that offers you
elegant yet relaxed surroundings
Set on the crest of a high, rolling hill, and surrounded by towering hardwoods and formal flower gardens, it is readily obvious why the Boston Herald and New York Times selected the Inn as "one of the ten most romantic places in the world."

The Inns 23 guest rooms, each with private bath, are beautifully furnished with period pieces complimentary to an exclusive New England country inn. Attention to detail and comfort are of the utmost importance to your hosts. All of the inns guest rooms have queen size beds or larger and are topped with oversized featherbeds. You may select to stay in one of several different types of guest rooms that are available. Nine rooms have fireplaces, six rooms have balconies or terraces, and four rooms have large whirlpool tubs. Children ages eight and up are welcome to stay in the main inn. Children of all ages are welcome in the guest house.
The White House has many amenities that help make your stay more relaxing and enjoyable. The lower level of the Inn has been transformed into a refreshing and invigorating spa, which includes a six-person whirlpool, sauna, suntan room, and a small heated swimming pool. Following a long day on the downhill slopes, or perhaps on our extensive cross-country trail system, you will be sure to enjoy a relaxing evening in our dining room.
