It features the original crown moldings and unique woodworking of a past era and now includes such modern necessities as private baths and free Internet.
A Victorian Swan on Water Bed and Breakfast is the perfect homebase for a wonderful Wisconsin vacation. Our downtown location is right on the Green Circle Trail with 30 miles of scenic trail so bring your bikes or hiking boots. Historic Main Street is just a couple blocks away with local farmers markets, antique and specialty shops, art galleries and restaurants. The Wisconsin River runs through the city and close to the Inn.
Stevens Point, a University town, is centrally located in Wisconsin and within driving distance from the Waupaca Chain of Lakes, Wausau, Antigo, the Fox Cities, Wisconsin Dells, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Eagle River, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Bayfield, Door County and Chicago.

pique your interest in the Rothman family that built the house over 100 years ago. Enjoy
our piano or simply relax in our TV/video room. Summer fills the backyard with flowers, a
splashing waterfall and comfortable seating. In winter, relax next to a cozy fireplace
with a board game or a good book. You are invited to spend restful nights in spacious
pastel rooms that combine Victorian antiques with modern comfort, including one whirlpool
suite. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts served in a plant-filled sun room.
Breakfasts are prepared from fresh ingredients and with your tastes and diet taken into consideration. Our specialty is Turtle French Toast. It's been our signature dish for over 25 years and guests continue to request it.

This spacious ivory and mauve toned room will make you feel like you are back in
1889, when the home was built. A crystal chandelier lights a small table and two chairs in
the windowed tower. A canopy of chintz backdrops the king-sized bed while antique
mahogany chests and a desk complete the room. The private bath contains a shower.
Pale seafoam walls with sunny exposures on three sides make this generous room a joy to
awaken in. Enjoy the old-fashioned claw-footed bathtub and shower. Crystal lamps and
accessories grace the mahogany dresser. King-sized bed or two twins. $155.00
Blues and yellows brightly combine with lace in this ivory room to create a happy setting.
A charming outside balcony gives the room its name. An ornate iron-frame bed
provides the look of another century, but its modern comfortable mattress will give you a

Enjoy the inn's generous rooms furnished with antique pieces that reflect earlier times. Modern comfort is not ignored as private bathrooms provide whirlpool, sauna, showers and one has an old fashioned clawfoot tub just for fun. The ambiance of wood floors with black walnut inlays, crown moldings and hidden window shutters will pique your interest in the Rothman family that built the house in 1889. In the late 1930's the house was moved from its original Clark Street location to Water Street but lost the third floor in the process.
The first floor is a common area, the parlor, with comfortable seating and lots of books for reading, the former dining room with built-in display cases is now a TV viewing area. Board games, cards, old fashioned phonograph and piano are available for your enjoyment.
