An 1891 era Queen Anne
Victorian in the heart of the arts, culture, and
history of south central Connecticut.
Commissioned by a silver baron for a wedding gift to his daughter, this
three story grand Queen Anne victorian still holds the beautiful
detailing of its historic era. Built in 1891, this 6600 square
foot Queen Anne Victorian mansion is nestled in a well established, quiet
neighborhood. Distinguished by its unique and historical architecture, the house features
a large front porch, balconies, and three story conical tower.
Tucked away within are five charming suites named for each of the philanthropist family who originally built the Victorian.
Each suite is uniquely decorated to suit its name sake, furnished with period antiques but keeping in mind the needs of travelers today.
Amenities are what set these suites apart from those found at your ordinary bed and breakfast, luxury pima cotton 600 thread count sheets, down comforters, and Gilchrist and Soames bath products. Slip away in luxury, while technology hums quietly away; Satellite TV and wireless internet. Enjoy afternoon tea and light repast served on period china each afternoon.
