Youngtown Inn & Restaurant
Lincolnville, Maine

The Youngtown Inn is a classic 1810 farmhouse built proudly upon two centuries of New England heritage

The Inn is as welcoming a building as you could hope for. A stately white-clapboard farmhouse with black shutters and gold trim, lit up for dinner with its windows all aglow....it seems an outpost of worldliness and refinement along a serene country road. The inside of the Inn is equally welcoming. Warmed by a potbellied wood stove and brightened by arrangements of fresh flowers, the extended dining room is nicely understated. Stenciled white walls, hung with French prints, ascend beamed ceilings and naturally finished pumpkin pine floors that shine underfoot. A small oil-lamp illuminates each white-clothed table.

Our intimate Inn offers six comfortable and romantic guestrooms, each with a private ensuite bath. Some rooms offer queen canopy or sleigh beds, balconies and fireplaces. All rooms offer generous amenities and the convenience of free wireless internet. The heart of the house has been immaculately preserved. The tastefully decorated guest rooms, sunny verandas, broad pumpkin pine floors, and brick fireplaces capture the warm feel of beautiful rural Maine.

Nestled in the Camden Hills, the inn is just five minutes away from Camden Harbor. Located halfway between Boothbay and Bar Harbor, it is the ideal location for exploring the Midcoast Region.

The Youngtown Inn offers six well appointed guestrooms, each lavishly decorated and immaculately kept.

All guestrooms have private baths and the beds are triple sheeted.

Lincolnville Welcomes You

Whatever your idea of the perfect escape, you just may find it in Lincolnville. From the drama of the rocky Maine coast to the tranquility of lush green mountains, Lincolnville's natural beauty offers something for everyone in every season. Explore our beach and watch the ferry make its way to the island of Islesboro. Kayak in a freshwater lake or cross-country ski through wooded trails.  Browse our craft shops and fine art galleries. Watch lobster boats haul in the catch of the day, or hike up a mountain for the breathtaking sight of a Penobscot Bay sunset.

The warmth of spring and summer brings almost endless activities in our area. Spectacular, expansive, and right outside the door. Camden Hills State Park, most of it within Lincolnville town limits, offers more than 30 miles of hiking and cross-country-skiing trails, some with Camden harbor views from atop 780-foot Mount Battie. The massive "ponds" (Norton, Coleman, Pitcher) are peaceful redoubts for swimming and canoeing. Activities such as biking the miles of country roads, fishing, swimming at Lincolnville Beach, and canoeing on Lake Megunticook, or a relaxing walk in Fernalds Neck Nature Conservancy are among just some of the many things to do locally.

Autumn is perhaps the most perfect time of year to visit Lincolnville. Embrace the crisp fall air and breathtaking foliage as you drive through miles of tree lined roads which give way to brilliant mountain and coastal scenery. Stop by one of our local farm stands and pick up freshly pressed apple cider and organic produce.

There is an abundance of winter sports from miles of trails for cross country skiing, to peaceful ice skating on the lakes and ponds.
