The Carriage House
Comfortable accommodations in a recently renovated 1830 Victorian located 1 mile west of the village of Woodstock.
Our inn has been lovingly decorated with your comfort and enjoyment in mind, from the spacious parlor with a cozy fire to the wraparound porch to each uniquely decorated guest room.
We are a different kind of B&B. Instead of doilies and breakable antiques, we have books (lots and lots of them), themed rooms, and a fun, casual elegance perfect for relaxing.
Want to be left alone? No problem. Want to sing and play guitar by the fire? Love to hear you. (Are you any good?) Need a midnight treat? Raid our "After Hours" snack bar.
Just outside the heart of Woodstock, the Carriage House is the perfect destination for your romantic Vermont getaway, adventure vacation, or weekend retreat.
Enjoy cultural events, antiquing, crafts and gallery shopping all year round. Outdoor activities abound depending on the weather skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, etc. Try a hot air balloon ride or a horseback ride!
Put your feet up by the fire, listen to music, read a good book or magazine, or have fun with friends.
Scrumptious Breakfast....8:30 - 9:30 a.m. (ish) It’s a bed and breakfast after all! Fresh, local, homemade, and delicious.
Served Nightly We serve coffee, tea, and warm cookies (with local Vermont milk) nightly!
Afternoon Tea 4:00 p.m. We serve a variety of black and herbal teas each afternoon. Cheerio!
Non-smoking property. Children limited. No pets please (Fido, the cat, doesn't like the competition)
Whether its a romantic getaway or the many outdoor and cultural activities available in the area that youre interested in, the Carriage House of Woodstock is the ideal place to relax, enjoy nature, friendly hospitality, and delicious food. We hope your visit will provide cherished memories and that youll visit us again!
